“When the lights die”

There were a few things I had in mind to write about and a few photos of recent events that I’d wanted to put up here, but a few days ago, tragedy had struck one of my dearest friends and suddenly, not much else mattered enough to be talked about at this period of time. I’d dropped almost everything just so I could be there for her, even if that meant minimum sleep and taking a half day off from work for the funeral. I can just imagine how her world came to a total standstill in a matter of minutes; throughout the day, it killed me just a little bit more every time I caught a glimpse of her face – she wore a mask of strength, but every few minutes or so, bits of that mask tore away as her face crumbled with all the pain she was trying to keep in.

“For you, I’d bleed myself dry”

You’ve broken my heart into smithereens so fine as dust, there is no possible way for you, or anyone else to piece everything back together. You keep pushing the boundaries endlessly; do you not see the limit to how much we can take? Is this some sort of fucking sick game that you like to play?

You’re no longer my Superman, the one who had the strength to overcome even the mightiest of obstacles.

You’re a monster, taking everyone down with you.

After a lifetime of trying never to disappoint you, of always seeking your approval even in the most trivial & stupidest of things like the way I look and talk, who knew that you could make me the most disappointed in all the 19 years I’ve lived.

I’ve had enough of this masquerade of strength.

Michael Jackson is now ‘Mikaeel’

The skint superstar, 50, donned Islamic garb to pledge allegiance to the Koran in a ceremony at a pal’s mansion in Los Angeles, The Sun can reveal.

Jacko sat on the floor wearing a tiny hat after an Imam was summoned to officiate — days before the singer is due to appear at London’s High Court where he is being sued by an Arab sheik.

A source told last night how Jacko, brought up as a Jehovah’s Witness, decided to convert as he used a studio at the home of his chum to record a new album.

“An Imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.”

Mikaeel is the name of one of Allah’s angels.

I don’t know, religion is too overrated nowadays, so don’t sue me for not really believing this change is going to last. Religion nowadays is either not taken seriously or taken too seriously. Like how changing religions is like changing underwear, to some celebrities. Or how some staunch Muslim governments have claimed yoga to be against Muslim beliefs and that it should banned.

I’m a muslim myself but, come on. Oh, pish posh.
